Examples

Compressed Air Leaks - Automatically analyze total system leaks, determining the wasted energy cost. The leaks are found and fixed, and Skye Solutions will constantly monitor the system for any recurring leaks. When they reach a certain system capacity, an email alert is sent to maintenance staff detailing the costs. Energy dollars and time is saved by only inspecting the air lines when there are leaks that need to be fixed.

HVAC Monitoring - Packaged or central HVAC systems can be monitored hourly for an unexpected increase in usage. If excessive usage is found, a facility manager will be alerted with the extent of the costs so the issue can be resolved within days, rather than months.

Facility Shutdown - Real Time Displays show the facilities current cost per hour, and what it is expected to be. When the last shift manager is leaving for the day, and sees that usage is significantly higher than it is supposed to be, he takes 5 minutes to fine the issue. He finds that lights in the shipping area were left on, corrects the issue, and lets the shipping manager know in the morning.

Peak Management - Load profiles are seen every day with Skye Solutions, and non critical equipment can be scheduled to turn off during these peak periods, usually between 1-3 hours. Further savings can be achieved by responding to demand alerts and shutting down pre-determined, non critical equipment 5-10 times per year.
